Harris Reunion July 18-23

So every year my Mother's family has a reunion . We go camping for a week. This year we got to go for the full week! It was a blast! Todd wasn't able to come during the week because he had to work so that was a bummer but he came on the weekend and we went motorbiking, hiking, played cards, and ate lots of yummy food.

Mieley and Sadie on the 4 wheeler. Everytime you started up the 4wheeler all of the kids (20) would come running towards the bike and want a ride. It was pretty funny.


Ryker loved to play in the dirt and rocks. He started a rock collection which was a lot of fun for him.


So all of the kids decided to put on a talent show for the adults. There was a stage there. They practiced and then when it was time they invited all the adults and charged them 10 dollars each to come. Of course we didn't give them that much but they made some money. In fact Mieley my niece had a bucket and was collecting the money while the kids were performing and then she took off with the money before the show was over. Smart girl. So the above picture is Ryker breaking sticks this was his talent. Below is Daeson doing cartwheels over logs. Pretty talented!

Sadie held this pose for like the whole talent show! It was so funny! She like didnt move.

At the beginning of the show Sadie screamed "Ladies and gentlemen!" and she held her hands up high ,. Then she repeated it over and over for like 15 minutes. She really liked being in the spotlight.
There was lots of gymnasstics you can see here Tevan, Sadie and Brooke all performing.

This was another one of Daesons tricks. He balanced a rock on his head while balancing on a fence. Pretty impressive!And this is Tora striking a pose. She did a lot of modeling that was her talent. it was funny.

Ryker made a lot of mud balls there. It was one of his favorite things to do. Also all the kids made a river out of mud.


So there is a very funny story behind this picture. I was down at the campsite and Tora and Sadie were yelling MOM, MOM, come help! So I went up to see what was going on and Tora was like help Sadie, help Sadie.. So I looked and.......
Her pants were stuck on a nail and she couldn't move. . I laughed so hard.


This kids had lots and lots of water fights. It was fun except for for the adults because the only water supply came from a pump and it was really hard to pump and for every pump you did you only got like a tablespoon of water..



We roasted lots of marshmallows and ate lots of hot dogs... the kids loved that too!

Grammy gave them glow sticks at night they all had fun with that too,


And Grandpa took Ryker on a long motorbike ride. He felt really big and special.

6th Anniversary

Todd and I celebrated our 6th anniversary on July 15th. We had an awesome time. Todd took me out to eat and then he suprised me with a brand new camera!!! So we went and got the kids and took them to temple square so that I could practice with my new camera. Side note--- I love Todd like crazy! It has been the best 6yrs of my life and I am so grateful to married to him!

Bear Lake July 8-10 with friends

So Brent and Tessa are amazing and they invited us to go to Bear Lake with them and stay in a cabin and live it up! It was so SO fun! We had never been to bear lake so it was really fun. Tom and Bre and Dan and Nicole came too! The kids had a blast. We got to boat all day on Saturday and play in the water and sand! We got to eat lots of yummy food like pulled pork sandwiches, omelets, french toast, fresh salsa yummy! We also got to go boating on Dan's boat. Todd got to try wake boarding for his first time and Ryker got to ride on a boat for his first time. It was a blast thanks Brent, Tessa, Tom Bre, Dan and Nicole!

So I'm pretty sure Brent and Tessa borrowed our camera and pretty sure they took these pictures. Lookin good!

Todd rode on the tube. Dan tried really hard to go fast and make lots of turns to throw him off the tube. Todd lasted a long time but he eventually fell off. His arms were pretty sore afterwards.

This was Todd's first time wakeboarding he had fun.

What was so cool about bear lake it that you can walk forever and it doesn't get deep so you can throw frisbies and play v=ball in the lake. We played frisbie.



The kids and I got on the jet ski tube and Todd was our slave and pulled us out far into the lake it was fun!



At the end of the trip, Todd was a little bit red! He got sunburned so bad! We even put sunblock on him twice in the day but it just didn't work. None of us got burned but him. He was pretty miserable. His arms were sore from tubing and wake boarding and his skin was on fire. There was one night his skin itched so bad he thought he was going to go crazy. Anyway it was well worth it!

Fourth of July

This fourth of July was lots of fun! We woke up really early and put on our breakfast at church. We were in charge of organizing and putting it on. So it started off early. We had pancakes, bacon, eggs, muffins, sausage, chocolate milk, oj, fruit, and much more it was delicious!! Then we cleaned it all up and went swimming! It was so fun! The kids love to swim. Then we had a bbq and went and watched the sugarhouse bbq. I got some food poisoning so I was a little sick through the fireworks thats why there are no pictures anyway it was a blast!
