Thanksgiving 2011

Thanksgiving was awesome this year! I got work off because I had my gallbladder out so we got to actually have it with family which is a first in a while. We spent Thanksgiving day with my family and then went to Todd's family on the weekend. I can't think of anything better than eating lots of delicious food with family! I am so grateful this season for my family!

While we were in Victor the kids got to go and feed the cows with Todd's neighbors. They got to ride on a horse and sleigh! It was so fun for them!

We blessed Oakley Nov. 20th. Her Dad performed the blessing. It was a very special blessing. We did it at my Mom and Dad's house. We had a lot of love and support from our family. Thanks to all those who were able to make it. We are so grateful for the love and support from our family!

Sherman Christmas Party

We went to the annual Sherman Christmas Party. It was fun! We had lots of good food! Santa Claus came and the kids got to hit pinatas. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Sherman!

Sadie and Ryker's santa gifts.
Ryker got a drawing board with dry eraser markers and Sadie got her first barbie doll.

Gallbladder gone and birthday

Isn't this a lovely picture.... Todd took it after my surgery. I had my gallbladder taken out Nov. 14th. Everything went well. Then I had my 28th birthday. You know your getting old when they have to start taking stuff out of you ;) My birthday was awesome! Todd made me a very special meal-tortellini with marinara- rosemary bread, sauted portebello mushrooms, salad, and asparagus. My Mom and Dad and Aunt Tassi took the kids to Idaho so it was a super chill birthday which was just what I wanted-very enjoyable! I got beautiful roses from Todd and a sports authority gifts card. I got a cute vest from Aunt Tassi and a cute magnet board from Aunt Jandy. I got a cute welcome sign from my friend Brea. I got grooming supplies from Kristina, I also got my hair done with the money from Craig and Carla. At night I went to TWILIGHT opening night...just so you know im not obsessed! I just enjoy it. My friend Mary got me a ticket and I had fun. We also went out to eat while Todd watched Oakley. It was an awesome day!

Todd's 29th Birthday

Todd had a fun Bday. We went to Smurfs in 3D with the kids and went birthday shopping with his money that he got from his Mom and Dad. Todd bought a pillow and a David Archuleta Christmas cd and a wok (he chose them all)-- oh the things you want when you are old... and yes TODD IS OLD! For his birthday dinner we had shrimp and steak. Yummy! and as it is tradition Todd cooked the shrimp and steak.
Afterwards, we had a hershey chocolate ice cream pie--YUMMY also Todd's choice. He got sunglasses, a fleece pullover, and a new griddle to make his pancakes on pancake Saturday (from his wifey) then he got lots of delicious food from Carma and Lee and nice pants from Tassi. Todd and I both got a new freezer from my Mom and Dad, and a Burger King gift card from Troy and Jandy (his fav. fast food), and awesome pictures from Ryker- Yes he was spoiled! And TODD IS OLD!- I can say that because he will always be a year older than me

Ryker's 5th Birthday

Ryker had a lot of fun this year for his birthday! He had 2 birthday parties and he was very spoiled! The first one was with his friends. He had Brody, Trenton, Everett, Clark, and Kinsley. We played games - it was a robot themed birthday party again because Ryker wanted another robot party. So we played pin the shield on optimus and bumble bee. Then we dressed up like robots. We threw water balloons at the deceptacons and then we found the all spark cube. Afterwards we hit the robot pinata and then ate pizza and cupcakes. It was a lot of fun. Thanks to all those who came. Thank you for the gifts. He got 2 optimus prime transformers toys- one from Brody the other from Everett, a 3d coloring book from Kinsley and a play 4 wheeler from Trenton.

This is Ryker's birthday cake. Ryker picked it out. . . Its a robot. I did things a little more simpler this year.
Above is his pinata

Todd and I fought over who got to hold the pinata in the tree and who got to take pictures. .. You can see who won.

The second birthday party was on his actual birthday day. We had Carma and Lee over for dinner. We had macoroni and cheese with cauliflower because that's what Ryker wanted for his birthday dinner. Then we had cake and ice cream and opened more presents.

Ryker got to make his own birthday cake fore this party. He chose a yellow cake with vanilla frosting.
As you can see, he frosted it all by himself.

He got a helicopter from Mom and Dad and a butterfly keeper. He got an art box, tonka trucks, legos, and an optimus prime from Carma and Lee. Grandma and Grandpa Grover got him transformer toy, and hero legos. Grandma and Grandpa Sherman got him 20 dollars to spend on whatever he wanted... he got transformer stuff and Aunt Tassi got him nice new shirts. From Aunt Jandy and Uncle Troy he got a little people car/person.

When he woke up we went out to go to preschool and the birthday fairy came and decorated the outside of our house (Carma and Lee). There was a 5 ghost and the number 5 everywhere! It was way cute... as you can see he was very excited!

On his birthday we went to lunch with Carson and had happy meals and ice cream. Carson got him some hero legos.
