MOAB 2010!!!!!!

Last weekend we took a vacation to Moab! It was totally awesome and super fun!!! We went down there because Todd needed to get pictures of a road and creek for his senior project in which he is to design a bridge. The place was called Entrada Ranch. We rented a jeep and had a blast. Here are a couple of photos...
This is the jeep that we rented!! It was awesome! It was a rubicon with the axle release and the sway bar. We loved it! Notice how clean it is before we start ;)

This was on our way to entrada bluffs. We followed the Colorado river..it was gorgeous!

We stopped at an old bridge called Dewey bridge. I guess it started on fire and this is the only thing left. Ryker thought it was cool...

This is the Entrada Ranch. It is the University of Utah's research ranch in the middle of nowhere!

This is the creek that Todd is supposed to design a bridge for so that cars and trucks can cross. He is doing it for his senior project.

This is the crossing in which he needs to design a bridge.

Just another view of the crossing.

After we got done with Todd's project we decided to do a little exploring of our own so we went to Gemini Bridges. This was the road to gemini bridges it was pretty good at first as you can see. However the whole time there was a cliff right on the side of the road really close!! And on top of that it was really slick because of the snow! SCARY!!-but super fun!

Notice the cliff...

Sadie had a blast! She was so good!

This was one of our pit stops on the way to Gemini Bridges. Ryker had to go pee pee. :)

This is Todd and Sadie on top of the bridges. You can't tell but there are huge cliffs on both sides of them. Totally scary!

This is the actual bridge. There are two bridges back to back, in this picture you can only see one. Look how high it is. I hate heights this kind of freaked me out a little.

This is the view from Gemini Bridges it is way high! But as you can see... super beautiful!

This was our jeep after everything was said and done! The manger of the car wash came up to us and asked us what color our jeep was. We told him it was white and he couldn't believe it! There was so much mud!!

It took for ever to get all the mud off but it was totally worth it!!!
