Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day to everyone!! We had a fun one! Todd spoiled me rotten and got me a new sewing machine and a beautiful wall decor mirror! He also got Sadie a cute wall hanging that says.. "the princess sleeps here". Ryker got candy. I got Todd a new Pancake spatula and made him lobster tail and philly cheesteak sandwiches. We had a great time. These pictures below are of us at the cabin they had a really cute snow carving for valentines day.

Cabin 2011

So every year my family rents a cabin for the weekend. This year we went to island park instead of Ashton. It was awesome! We had a blast! Here is some of the photos.

So there was a hot tub at the cabin..... everyone had fun in it. Adam and all the grandkids decided to go in the hot tub while Kaden and I were outside playing in the snow, so Kaden and I came up with an idea.....

But before I could throw snow on them... Adam jumped out the hot tub and came after me and Kaden



He shoved me down and threw snow in my face... it was a pretty good shot I must admit

Then, he threw more snow in my face... right now it looks like he is winning right...

Then, he got Kaden in the face, still looks like he is winning...

But then......... Kaden and I teamed up and.............




BAAAMMMMMMMMM!! He started running away after that hahaha LOL! looks cold doesn't it!




Todd and I took the kids outside and build snow caves with them.. It was way fun. Todd is an awesome snow cave maker man by the way!

Ryker Sadie and Daddy in the hot time having a blast! Sadie loved the hot tub she was crazy in it! She would jump off the sides and not even be scared!

While we were there we celebrated Mom's 53rd birthday! I was fun! Jandy made this awesome yummy cake! We opened presents and ate cake and ice cream. Grandma got all the kids presents to help celebrate her birthday, I thought that was really nice of her! Looking good at 53 MOM!

These are the presents that Grandma got for all the grandkids on her birthday to give to them. She got Ryker a backhoe and Sadie cute stacking monkeys. Thanks!

This is one of the snow caves that Todd, Kaden and I made! It turned out really REALLY good and long and deep! The snow at Island Park was insane! It was up to the telephone posts!

So Todd and I started a tradition at the cabin .. Every year we make homeade ice cream and doughnuts! Everyone really enjoyed them this year!

New happenings

Say Goodbye to our Honda Accord and say hello to ...............

OUR NEW MINIVAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I know what you are thinking..... I have said my entire life that I would never own a minivan no matter what..... but our Honda Accord's transmission went bad and we had to buy a new car. This was the most economical buy. Yes you probably wondering if my family has been making fun of me .. well you are right. They have been calling me DANIVAN and soccer mom! I probably will never be able to live this one down. The first week I drove the van I was so embarrassed like I hope nobody sees me driving this.... but then, after lots of loading the kids in and out of the van I started realizing that this is kind of sweet. We got a dvd player for the kids inside too! And now you wouldn't believe Im going to say this but... I love my new minivan!! Oh an if anyone wants an accord with a bad transmission let me know.

So we went sledding at the sugarhouse park, it was so fun! The kids loved it!
