We went to the Great Salt Lake

We've lived in Salt Lake for 6yrs now! Holy MOly! Todd and I have visited the lake but we hadn't taken our kids so we decided to go the other day... plus Todd wanted to get samples to irradiate so we went for a short visit. It was fun and the kids loved it. It is amazing how salty the lake is!

Recent Happenings...

Ryker started preschool Oct. 24th. He has absolutely loved it! I was so excited for him to start! He goes to East High preschool, so high school kids along with adult teachers teach him! He loves it and has learned lots already.

And.. Sadie started gymnastics! She loves it. She goes once a week she calls it "nimnastics"

We visited Gardeners Village before Halloween. I thought the pictures turned out cute so I wanted to post a few.

Halloween

Halloween was a blast! The kids had lots of fun--- of course! We went trick or treating and then went to a party at our neighbors house and had soup, apple cider, homeade donuts, and smores. It was fun. This year Sadie was a princess fairy and Ryker was Iron Hide from transformers. Oakley was my little pumpkin. At the end of the party Ryker came up to me and said, "Mom my tummy hurts I want to go home and throw up" ahhhhhhhhhhhh there's nothing better than Halloween.

So we started carving pumpkins, the kids were way excited to do it! I told them to start taking out the guts (seeds) and they were so excited but then like 2minutes into it they were like we don't want to do it anymore. Todd was busy doing homework so he couldn't help. So I cleaned out two pumpkins. Then when it was time to carve Todd decided it would be fun to draw really hard pictures for me to carve. So he drew the pictures on the pumpkins and then I carved them, of course Ryker wanted transformers and Sadie wanted tangled so needless to say I took a long time carving these pumpkins for the kids. They fell asleep before I was done but they were happy the next day to see them. I thought it was going to be an activity for the kids but it turned out being an activity for mom! :)

Oakley's crib

I am very proud to say that Oakley's crib is finished! Todd worked very hard to get this done. He made it all on his own! He made it out of walnut wood. I think that it turned out beautiful! And he got it done before Oakley's due date! Thank you Todd, we love it!
