Happy Father's Day

We had an awesome Father's day! Todd got steak and shrimp. He was very happy. I am so grateful for Todd! He is seriously an amazing father. I think he is a better father than I am a mother! I tell him that all the time. But seriously I am SO grateful for him and for the amazing father he is! I also am grateful for the father's in my life. My dad is awesome, I love him my Father in law also awesome. I am also grateful for all the men in my life, my awesome brother's, and on and on. I am so blessed to have good men in my life.

And here is my orphan Annie daughter. This was after she ate watermelon, corn on the cob, and played in the dirt and rocks. I thought it was a cute picture. Thanks to my awesome neighbor Angela who took these pictures with her awesome camera.

The biking accident ....dun dun dun...;)

This is Ryker's new bike. He absolutely loves it, and so do we. He keeps up with us now when we go on bike rides :) On Sunday we were at sugarhouse park going down a big hill. Todd and Ryker were in the back and we were with our good neighbors and friends Tom and Brea. We were going down a hill very fast when.... a dog ran out and into Todd and Ryker. It knocked both of them over very hard and fast. It was very traumatic! Someone called 911 and the paramedics came and everything!. I of course was a wreck. I was so worried. But the paramedics came and told us that we were ok to drive to the ER. Todd hit his hip really hard and his head. Lucky for him he had his helmut on. It broke his helmut in half! We took Todd to the ER becuase his hip was really bothering him. He got x-rays . Lucky for us everything was fine! :) Ryker and Todd are a little sore but everything is ok! :) The people with the dog came over the next day and apologized and gave Ryker a present and Todd a new helmut and cupcakes. Let's just say they were both very happy about that! The most important part of this story is that Todd and Ryker had a helmut on. The Dr told Todd that if he had not had the helmut on, he would have been in the ICU. We are so glad and grateful it was not as bad as it could have been. And, we know that Heavenly father really does watch over and protect you whey you ask for it in your prayers!

Best Friends Wedding

So this weekend my best friend Kristina got married at the SLC temple. It was awesome! I had so much fun seeing her family and being there was just awesome! I am so excited for her and her new husband Fernando! Congrats!

Our Beligian Friends!

Bart and Analeen some of our dearest friends came and visited us all the way from Belgium! We had such a good time with them! We ate dinner with them, went to temple square, Park City and more! We had a blast!! They are a wonderful couple and we wish them happiness in their new marriage!! We love you guys thanks for coming... Hopefully next time we will come to Belgium to see you.

Sleeping outside

We had our first sleep outside of the summer! It was so fun! This was Sadie and Ryker's first time sleeping outside. We just put up the tent in the backyard. It was a perfect night and believe it or not.... both the kids slept the whole night!!! Thanks Heidi for the awesome Christmas present.

When we woke up in the morning Sadie was clear over to the very corner with her head in the corner. It was hilarious!

Todd came home today with some very exciting news! He was very proud to say that.....

I operated a nuclear reactor today!

This summer Todd is working as a lab tech at the nuclear reactor at the University of Utah. His goal is to become a SRO or Senior Reactor Operator. It is very difficult to become one. The test itself takes a lot of time. It is a 3hrs written test and a 7hr oral exam. whew! So that is one of his goals in the next year is to become a SRO so that he can run a nuclear power plant.

So, one of my best friends and next door neighbor is a photography. She asked if she could do a time lapse of me and Ryker and Sadie to get a peek of a day in the life of a mother. I thought she did a great job! Thanks Brea. Here is the link to see it
